AVI (Virtual Environment of Languages) from UNAM, is a platform which offers language courses in English, French and Italian to develop the four discursive skills. You will find the Support Learning Units (UAPAs) which will help you learn even the most difficult problems in your learning process. These units are for self-evaluation, you will be able to answer them as you need, but if you want to learn the language integrally, we recommend you follow the order of the units. If you do it, you willstart at level A1 and finish at B2, according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
In AVI, you will be able to find courses on Reading Comprehension Strategies, and you could develop the necessary abilities to understand texts in a language different to Spanish.
Additionally, you will find different placement tests which will give you the opportunity to evaluate your discourse abilities and reading comprehension. You will find links and websites related to the learning of foreign languages.

Ambiente Virtual de Idiomas (AVI) de la UNAM, es una plataforma que alberga cursos de cuatro habilidades para que puedas aprender el idioma inglés, así como el francés y el Italiano en un futuro próximo. En ella también encontrarás diversas Unidades de Apoyo para el Aprendizaje (UAPA) que te permitirán practicar los temas que consideres más difíciles durante tu proceso de estudio; dichas UAPA son de autoevaluación, y podrás irlas resolviendo conforme necesites, aunque si lo que deseas es aprender algún idioma de manera integral, te sugerimos seguir el orden propuesto, que es empezar por el nivel A1 y concluir el nivel B2 de acuerdo con los descriptores del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas.
Asimismo, en la plataforma AVI podrás encontrar cursos de Estrategias de Comprensión de Lectura, en donde desarrollarás las habilidades necesarias para comprender textos escritos en una lengua diferente al español.
Adicionalmente hallarás distintos instrumentos de diagnóstico que te permitan autoevaluarte en cuatro habilidades y en la comprensión de lectura, además de ligas a sitios de interés vinculadas al aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras.
