When we want to make a suggestion or an invitation to someone which includes ourselves, we can use the expression "Let's".
Let’s is the short form of “Let us". Let us is very formal and not very common.
Let’s is more common and used in daily conversations.
For example:
Let’s get something to eat!
Yes, let’s go to Charley’s!
